We made it, friends. We're officially halfway through 2026, and holy milky fatbags, what a year it's been so far. Things exploded a wee bit on my end recently, primarily on X, and I've been completely inundated with art and animation commissions since. But hey, I ain't complainin'; getting compensated to do what you love is kind of incredible, to be honest.

Between public and private commissions for individual clients, as well as getting back into doing storyboards and animatics regularly for work, a lot got thrown at me at once, out of nowhere. It's a lot, but I attempt to stand strong in the hurricane, never succumbing to her turbulence. She's a big, fat, beautiful bitch. God, I love her.

Basically, I've been busy as hell and loving every moment of it. Drawing and animating beautiful female humans is already what I crave doing, and essentially getting funded to continue practicing it all is nothing short of a miracle, if those things exist. I recall what I was thinking many, many years ago, wishing this whole creative, horny little art journey of mine would wind up... kind of where it is right now. It's a strange feeling. A good one. It tickles a bit. Not trying to get a big dick over it or anything. The path still goes on for ages, I'm sure. But where things are at right now? It's pretty cool. I'll take it.

In other news, I've been developing a game solo for a few years, but I've mostly kept quiet about it since there still hasn't been much excitement to show beyond boring gesture characters and blocks of code. I'd love to showcase it one day when it reaches a presentable point, but for the time being? It's just been getting its exposed engine jimmied and fucked around with back in the garage. Fighting game logic and rollback netcode are an even fatter fuck than the hurricane bitch, but development continues moving forward alongside the usual jiggly cartoon business. It has become more and more of a priority lately. One day, one day soon, there will finally be something to show.

Holy fat village feeders, 2025 was a WEIRD one.
Uncontrollably bouncy and jiggly. So many fun, unhinged surprises.

On my end, it kicked off with the completion of Careful What You Wish For, a Cuphead toon I started AGES ago. After sitting docked on the beach for gods-know-how-long, I finally rigged it up, cleaned it, and tossed it back into the watery planes, sending her off to sea in late spring. She was a MASSIVELY bloated whale of an animation, but watching an obese project like that slowly come together, even after a long stasis, was deeply pleasing to my salty little eye.

Shortly after, I felt the urge to crank something out inspired by another one of my favorite fictional universes: Guilty Gear. Giovanna and Rei was what my brain puked up. I’m always looking for excuses to practice impact animation, and that one was the perfect vessel for such wonderful visualizations. But in all honesty, the video was really an all-out attempt at creating witty, captivating dialogue, beautiful imagery, and a story that would move the hearts and minds of audiences. I think the final product speaks for itself.

Yet another shoutout to Hyenaedon for contributing his laser-precise musical tracks, as usual. He never ceases to amaze my earholes. Speaking of which, immediately following the silly, fat-assed Brazilian agent’s antics with her spirit wolf, I went full throttle into another Madness Day contribution, because how could I not? I smelted and forged Madness Combat: Death Dunkers, featuring fiery audio tracks from both Hyenaedon and, newly added to the roster, Preds. As expected, they murdered it. Gracefully.

After yet another trip to Tokyo, Japan, Earth, I returned to American soil and hacked together an experimental little Animal Crossing toon: Animal Crossing: Home Invasion. It’s been over a decade since I last touched that series in animated form. (An Animal Crossing Tale was my first… back in 2014… JFC...)

As for us artists and animators, and really anyone who enjoys channeling their life force into creating things, with AI snowballing more and more out of control… we’ve probably only got a handful of meaningful years left doing this shit. We might as well make it count. Honestly? I kind of enjoy watching the entropy; witnessing the whole “I need to post my work so the almighty algorithm rewards me with temporary fake respect from strangers” hamster wheel scorch straight into the goddamn pits of hell warms my heart. Bring it, put these poor fuckers out of their misery already. C:

This Madness Day, I was once again compelled to pay tribute to the all-time greatest internet series, and what I conjured was Death Dunkers.

I was succumbed in utter amazement at how seamlessly the homies Hyenaedon and Preds joined forces to promptly fabricate its ass-slappingly lethal audio tracks, despite all three of us undergoing life's turbulence at the time (two of us were moving homes amidst development)! So much energy and perfectly pinpointed aggression in these dudes, I love it. Looking forward to continuing to ally with their impeccable, homicidal musical expertise!

Now that the dust has settled, I'm in Tokyo for the longest stay I've had so far (a whole month this time)! It's a much-needed oasis, and I feel privileged as hell to spend any amount of my life residing with my S-tier artist cousin once again; the peace, respect, organization, artfulness, everyone minding their own business and not feeling the impulsive need to turn into abysmal political activist comedians... home. C:

I’ve got plans for future projects as always, but I’m also grinding away at some ancient ones I anointed eons ago. We'll see where we're at when I return to the beautiful battlegrounds of the United States.

Just under two weeks ago, I published Giovanna & Rei, a Guilty Gear: Strive cartoon starring the spirit wolf-wielding agent herself! I wanted to make something a little quick and dirty, and I had a lot of fun messing around with the physics in that one. As with the other animations I did, like always, much was learned!

Now that Gio’s big, fat Brazilian butt is out of the way, it’s time to move on to the next installment of the Madness fan animations. The script’s been completed for a while now, and I’ve been cranking away at its animatic these last few weeks. Progress is good ’n’ steady, despite me being busy AF with work — I’ve really been trying to flesh out the battle scene, but time’s limited, and the Madness Day 2025 deadline just keeps charging closer and closer. It’s been pretty insane over here, but either way, I’m excited.

I’m also still chiseling away at that game. Yes, I know it’s been a few years, but I haven’t dropped it yet, and the engine’s so close to being complete I can smell it… and it reeks of blood, victory, and some of the best pumpkin pie you’ve ever consumed with your eyeballs.

Careful What You Fish For was finally released out into the deep blue, and after the oasis of its departure, I finally set up an art commission page.

Been meaning to make one of those for a while, so I did it. You want a character drawing--sketch or full render--let me know!

Aside from art commissions, I've also been working on a Guilty Gear cartoon, game devving, and doing storyboard work. Life's been good.

Now that we've stepped into 2025, let's take one last look back! 2024 was a year of work, practice and experiments. Much was learned.

At the very start of January that year, I breezed through a quick Ghost Adventures toon: Ghost Adventures! It was mostly an attempt to make something as fast as possible with more simplistic animation. It also was a while since I did any voice acting, so I threw my hat into the ring of that, as well.

The next month, I had another shot at a shorty, Medieval Meds, starring the iconic plague doctor with Jasmin Bartlett's pulchritudinous voice acting skills, with plenty of leeches to go around!

A Final Fantasy sandcastle building competition was held during the middle of Spring in Sandcastle Final Fantastical, a video that took much longer than it should've. I had a go at making a beachy audio track for it while I conscripted Jasmin and Stefanie Kat to voice Aerith and Tifa in Japanese; the results were impeccable!

After those animated cinches, when Summer rolled around, I decided to go back to my roots and put some more effort into the frame-by-frame and coloring with CHUN-ZO IS DUN-ZO, a Street Fighter cartoon starring the wonderful Chun-Li herself. Throughout the year, I was continuing to study anatomy as well as animation techniques, and I felt this video was a perfect excuse to put what I had learned to the test.

I've been dicking around with audio mixing techniques for quite some time, and since a few years went by without me attempting a voice demo, I decided it was finally time: I officially released a voice reel for the first time in nearly a decade in early August. Even then, I've been making adjustments to all the post-pro (cool way to say post-production) since, but I've still been lending my vocals to other projects around, when they come.

I had another trip to Japan coming up, but something equally as pressing was on the horizon: Madness Day. I scrambled to get Madness Combat: Credit Carnage out before the journey to the Empire of the Sun, and, luckily, that mission was accomplished. Too much time had passed since I animated a fight sequence, and that one was loads of fun to do! I also had a kickass time voicing with my good homie Astro, who has also been sporadically lending his voice in my cartoons for like eleven fucking years.

Aside from personal projects, I've been doing loads of art, animation, storyboarding and voice commission work to sustain my existence. Been continuing to practice drawing techniques, and I've also been doing a lot of game development on top of it all. Feel free to drop a follow if you're interested in updates to any of this! Looking back, it's incredible to see where this has all taken me since I started all those years ago, and I'm very excited to see where it all winds up.

Sorry if I got your hopes up, "Tokyo Madness" is not the title for anything. Just been visiting Japan for almost a month and had Madness Combat: Credit Carnage whipped up right before the trip; I've been getting into animating fight sequences, and with Madness Day fast-approaching, I felt compelled to give it yet another shot, cranking up all gears as I contributed to the wonderful, mass bombing-raid.

It was a wonderful time admiring the Japanese culture and marvelous sights ;) ;) ;););) but now that I'm back in the US, it's back to work; been drawing, practicing, and writing up a lot more animated shorts, and still have been working on that biiiig PROJECT, oOoOoOoOOoOoOOHHh!!! So excited, hell on EARTH it has been busy, but I love it all. See ya soon!

AHOOOOOOOUGHAAA it's been over HALF a YEAR!??!? I can't even believe it's almost August. Wow. Damn. Okay. Just keep on doing your thing then, time. <: We all appreciate it.

So I finished a little toon about Chun-Li. Scope creep's a funny thing, initially it was just going to be a single shot of her and nothing more, but I decided to add more exposition and other nonsense instead. Practiced a lot in that one, there were many movements I wasn't entirely familiar with conveying properly, animation-wise. Felt like I had to keep hitting the brakes and doing studies/experiments until I was able to reach something closer to what I envisioned. There was still plenty to improve upon, but I decided to stop succumbing to the scope-creep and just called it good, because I was spending FAR too much time on it as it was.

Still got plans and ideas for more toons, and now I feel my hands have finally been freed. Going to start showing bits of something I've been planning for AGES (there's also a really funny story behind this, but that's for a MUCH later date ;). Sorry, just merged that winky emote with the close parenthesis to save time because I feel it's been going so fast and there's so much to do. Like seriously I feel like I just teleported in from May.

Better get back to work!! Still practicing everything, come on down to Twitch if you'd like to take part in the oh-so-fun streams! Can always have more meat in the seats, if you know what I mean. ;) ;)

What a great year! A tough one, but the seeds of work can and often do blossom into progress and results! 2023 was a prime example of such. Let's get right down into the dark portal!

​Just like last year, I have been animating for Flashgitz, though a lot more so this time around! This year's contributions have been Detective Pikachu Busts Andrew Tate, Zoomer the Hedgehog, Why Animes Never End, Hollywood Eats Mario, The Fate of All Weebs, Mickey's Diversity Games, Bison Defeats Ryu, Historically Accurate Little Mermaid, All Weebs Go to Anime Heaven, Tech YouTube is Getting Weird, Console Wars - Don't Join PC Master Race, Historically Accurate Mulan, and POV: Detective Pikachu Turns off His Body Cam. Always a pleasure to work with such a talented crew! And guess what? For the first time ever, we're working on an original series! PRAISE BE TO SPACE KING!!

Late October, right before my voyage to Japan, I finally finished Juri Needs to Cross, a Street Fighter 6 cartoon! Once I unleashed that baby to the physical world, I vowed never to spend that much time on an animation for the rest of my life. Which means my videos, from now on, are going to be shorter and leaner, kinda like this one.

During November, the talented BrokenMOJO released his slick and classy horror animation, ThereAreDemonsInYourHouse, which I had the pleasure of lending a voice to! Was so psyched to be a part of the cartoon, and it was a hot minute since I did any voice overs. If you need a hand (or "vocal cords", more specifically), give me a holler and maybe I can help!

I try to stream on Twitch at least once a week, the schedule changes at times but you're free to check out my community posts on YouTube to see what's up with it! I finished Juri Needs to Cross a couple of weeks ago. That one was a beast; I started it Summer 2022 but put it off for almost a year to make way for shorter videos (JENNY, Boys' Night out in Nevada, Princess Peach's Pumpkin Pie and an unfinished Cuphead toon). All the line work for the details in the clothing was nuts, and that combined with the constant back-and-forth skill creep as I continued to learn about animating in general made it a doozy. But it's now done, so I can finally rest.

JUST KIDDING! Rest!? HAHAHAHAHA never. I got a list of shorts I'd like to sporadically publish as I continue to practice and improve (here's one we can start with). Just not going to dump that same amount of time into a single cartoon for basically the rest of my life. You have no idea how liberated I now feel.

In other news, I've been visiting Japan since late October. The legends were true! This place is pretty cool, and I can already feel the manga and anime vibes trickling into my consciousness; hopefully this will become visible in my work. And luckily I'm still able to get my job done for Flashgitz while residing here, which I received full-time hours for last Summer; having my primary source of income flowing from what I love to do is an insane feeling. And, for the first time in history, we got an original series on the way!

Now let's end this post with something BIG: For over a year I've been planning and sketching down ideas for a project, and I'm elated that I now have time allocated to officially get started on it. All I will say is that it's not a video (and it's not that music album either, we'll talk about that another time... though that's on the way, too!). If all goes according to plan, I'll upload some WIP's on my social media pages (they're down at the footer of this site, if you're interested).

Twitch streams will start up again, they are fun! The new schedule will be posted once I get it all sorted out and return from the Empire of the Sun, just before Thanksgiving.
